About The Tending Co

September mornings collect fog in the field ditches around Spaulding, and it lifts off the windbreak rows about the time the first mower starts. The Tending Co works that hour — mowing, trimming and edging, weeding and bed maintenance, seasonal cleanups when the year turns over. Tending is the right word for it: a lawn is not a project that finishes, it is something you come back to. The same yard, week after week, held steady through a Saginaw Valley summer until October takes the leaves and closes the season out. Bridgeport, Saginaw and the township roads between them make up the round.
