About Shawnoskey Lawncare

Fog holds in the Jordan River valley most summer mornings and burns off toward the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix by nine. Shawnoskey Lawncare is already working by then — mowing, trimming and edging the yards that step down the hillsides toward the water, clearing beds, hauling brush off. Nothing here is flat, and grass on a slope near the lake grows fast and unevenly, so keeping it level takes more than one pass. By evening the lawns along the arm look combed, the cut lines running with the shoreline. Between East Jordan, Ironton and Boyne City, that is the shape of a good day.
