There is a kind of help a neighborhood runs on, and in October in Somerset Township it usually looks like somebody arriving with a mower and a rake before the leaves get ahead of the yard. Lend A Hand Lawn mows through the season, trims and edges where the lines matter, and handles the spring and autumn cleanups when the oaks and maples have their say. The growing year in this corner of Hillsdale County is short at both ends and generous in the middle, which makes timing half the craft. Lawns around Somerset Township and the small lake communities nearby are looked after from thaw to freeze.
