About Emery Home & Garden

Slagle sits up in the rolling hills of Wexford County, where the Manistee National Forest presses close and July air smells of pine pitch and warm sand. Emery Home & Garden cares for lawns carved out of that wooded country, green patches bordered by bracken fern, oak and the long afternoon shadows of jack pine. Sandy ground drains fast up here, so grass needs attention that is thoughtful as well as regular: mowed high enough to ride out dry spells, trimmed close along garden beds and fence lines, edged so the yard reads clean against the trees. On a hot afternoon, with grasshoppers ticking in the ditches and road dust drifting down, a fresh-cut lawn looks like a small clearing someone loves. That feeling is what Emery works toward.
