About Bergdahl's Inc.

Skandia carries its Scandinavian name well: this is pine-and-birch country south of Marquette, where winter can show up in October and linger deep into April. Lake Superior sends its moisture inland in long gray bands, and a single night can bury a driveway past the mailbox flag. Bergdahl's Inc. meets that weather with snow removal shaped for the north, plowing out long rural drives, opening the turnaround and clearing a path to the door while the stars are still out. The pride shows in the shape of things afterward: straight walls of snow, a level surface, room to back out without thinking twice. In a place where winter is the main event, a cleared drive is a small daily freedom.
