About True North Contracting

February in Macomb County can go blue and rigid for a week at a stretch — the snow packed hard, the shadows across it the color of slate. True North Contracting works that stretch in Shelby Township, plowing drives and lots, clearing walkways down to the surface, and putting salt where the freeze and thaw have glazed everything over. Cold snaps are the honest test of a snow route: no fresh powder to push, just ruts and ice and the need to keep an entrance safe underfoot. Storm nights run late and start early, and the measure of a night is whether people get out on time in the morning. There is nothing lyrical about a plowed lot at five a.m., and nothing better.
