About Salt&Soil Management LLC

February in Macomb County is a series of small betrayals — forty degrees at noon, meltwater running down every Shelby Charter Township driveway, then a hard clear night that turns all of it to glass. Salt&Soil Management LLC plans for that half of winter as carefully as for the storms themselves: plowing when snow falls, clearing walks and lots, timing salt so the refreeze never gets a foothold. Ice is a matter of hours, and knowing which hours matter is most of the craft. The good outcome is unglamorous — dark dry pavement at daybreak and nobody giving it a thought. That is exactly the intention.
