About Master Gardener Lawn Care

North of Shelby Charter Township the land rolls up into the glacial hills around Stony Creek, and the soil left behind there — sand and clay in uneven measure — decides a great deal about how a lawn behaves. Master Gardener Lawn Care works with that rather than against it: mowing on a schedule the grass can actually keep, trimming and edging so the shape of a yard stays legible, cleanups in spring when winter's debris finally comes to light. May is the month when everything wants to grow at once, and the answer is a steady hand and a regular return. A well-kept lawn is mostly a record of showing up. Keeping that record is the whole job.
