About GreenScape

Stony Creek's oak woods sit at the top of Shelby Township, and their shadow describes half the lawns in town: dappled, root-laced, more shade than sun. GreenScape works with that rather than against it — mowing at the right height, trimming close around trunks and beds, feeding the turf where the canopy takes most of the light. September is the sweet spot here, when the nights cool and the grass turns emerald again after August has had its way with it. Cleanups in spring and fall bracket the season, and the leaves come off before they can mat down over the winter. A lawn kept honestly through the fall is a lawn that comes back easy in April.
