About Bighorn Outdoor Services

Sharon Hollow is a fold in the Washtenaw hills where the River Raisin runs cool under old trees and the gravel roads keep every one of their curves. Bighorn Outdoor Services mows the yards tucked into that country — long slopes, damp corners near the creek, dooryards shaded so heavily the grass comes in by patches. A hillside lawn is a matter of pattern and pace, and the trimmer finishes whatever the deck cannot: stone steps, fence posts, the base of a maple older than the house. Autumn here is the show, and the leaves come off the turf while they are still worth looking at. Every yard is left the same way — even, edged and quiet.
