About King Lawn Care & Snowplowing LLC

On a June evening in Scottville the light comes in low along Main Street, past the storefronts and the grain elevator, and it touches every lawn in town at once — which is exactly when you can tell who has been cutting straight. King Lawn Care & Snowplowing LLC keeps those yards mowed, trimmed and edged all through the growing months. Then the deck comes off and the plow goes on, because winter here is not shy; it comes across the open fields west of town and asks for the same driveway twice in one night. It gets cleared anyway — pushed wide, walks opened, salt laid where the ice likes to sit. Come morning nobody has to think about it, which is the whole idea.
