About Smolinski Lawn Care LLC

August in Sanborn smells like warm pine and fresh grass and, when the wind sits right, the pale stone dust drifting off the quarry ground. Smolinski Lawn Care LLC mows through the heat of it — inland lots toward Ossineke and Hubbard Lake, full sun on one half of a yard and cedar shade on the other, which is two different jobs on one property. String trimming squares up the fence lines and the gatepost, and the drive gets blown off before the truck moves along. Autumn cleanup here is a bigger chore than most people expect, because the hardwoods and the pines let go on different schedules. Done right, a Sanborn lawn holds its shape from the first cut of the year to the last.
