Biljan Lawn Service

About Biljan Lawn Service

The first sound on a summer morning in St. Clair Township is often a freighter's low horn carrying up off the river, and the second is a mower starting. Biljan Lawn Service works the lawns of the township — mowing, trimming, edging, hauling off the clippings — for people who like a yard that looks tended without having to think about it. Out here the ground runs flat to the water, so a crooked line would show; the crew cuts a straight one anyway, then walks the beds to make the edge crisp. Spring arrives wet and windy off the channel, and fall comes down all at once in maple leaves, and both get cleaned up. It is ordinary work done carefully, week after week, on streets where people notice.
