On a summer evening the whole town seems to end up at Palmer Park, where the Pine River lets go into the St. Clair and the boardwalk fills with people walking off dinner. Every lawn between there and the edge of town has to look good in that light, and Andy's Lawn & Landscape LLC does the mowing, trimming and edging that make it so, week after week from the first flush of May grass onward. Beds get mulched, hedges get shaped, and the fall cleanups pull the leaves off before a freeze sets them down for good. Winter turns the same trucks into plows — driveways, walks, salted approaches, lots opened while the river runs black and steaming under the cold. Short spring, long memory of snow. The year here rewards anyone willing to meet it twice.
