About Gentner Excavating, LLC

Out in Ruth, in the flat heart of Michigan's Thumb, snow rarely just falls; it travels. Wind sweeps across miles of harvested bean and beet fields, past the slow-turning wind turbines, and builds hard ridges of drift across every lane in its path. Gentner Excavating, LLC meets that with the steady patience of an outfit used to moving earth: heavy snow shoved well back, drifts cut down, driveways opened wide enough for a pickup to swing around without a second try. The reward is a clean stripe of gravel or blacktop showing through the white after a long night of blowing. In this wide-open country, that stripe is how you know the way out is yours again.
