About Homegrown Longhaul LLC

Roxand wakes in straight lines — mile-square roads, windbreaks of old maple, corn standing to the horizon in every direction. Homegrown Longhaul LLC starts before the dew burns off, when the first pass lays a dark stripe across a yard that hasn't been touched since the last rain. Out here a lawn is a small clearing held against a very large sky, so the trimming gets done close in to the fence posts and the edges get cut true. By afternoon the walk is swept and the yard sits square and green between the fields, and the cleanups come in their season, before winter and after it. It is plain work, and it shows from the road.
