Baker Lawncare

About Baker Lawncare

The Rifle River runs cold past Rose City even in the middle of August, and the town keeps its scale small against all that jack pine and hardwood to the north. Baker Lawncare works the yards in between, mowing and trimming the clearings people carved out of the trees and the tidy lots on the streets near the river. Up here the growing season arrives late and leaves early, so every week of it counts and nothing gets skipped. There is a plain satisfaction in the sound of a place going quiet after the mower shuts off, the edges clean, the grass laid down in even bands. From the village out toward Lupton and Selkirk, it is the same simple promise kept one lawn at a time.
