Krajnik Lawncare

About Krajnik Lawncare

In Rogers City the winter wind comes straight off Lake Huron, gathering speed over open water before it unloads on the harbor town's quiet streets. Once the freighters have made their last runs out of the limestone port and the lake turns the color of pewter, Krajnik Lawncare trades mowing for snow work. That work is plain and deeply satisfying: a driveway pushed clean to its edges, a walk shoveled down to dry concrete, the banks stacked where they won't creep back by noon. There is a particular pride in opening a lakeside drive while the gulls are still hunkered on the breakwall. When spring finally loosens the shoreline, every one of those cleared mornings will have been worth it.
