Jeffery Company

About Jeffery Company

When the wind swings northeast, Rockwood gets whatever Lake Erie decides to send — wet snow, then a freeze that welds it to the pavement. Jeffery Company works those nights, plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and entries, and salting the places that glaze over first. There is an art to timing a lot: too early and you plow it twice, too late and every tire has packed it down. The proof is bare blacktop at daybreak with the piles set well back from the door. Winter service for Rockwood and the Downriver towns close by.
