Rockford Snow

About Rockford Snow

A lake-effect band can park itself over this part of Kent County and stay a day and a half, throwing inch after inch while thirty miles south the sun is out. Rockford Snow works those long storms, plowing drives and lots and clearing the walks in front of them. In a storm like that you don't wait for it to finish; you run the route, then run it again, so nobody ever faces the whole total at once. Salt and shovels handle what a blade can't reach — the step, the corner, the strip along the door. The measure of the night is a driveway opened before anybody needs to leave.
