About Bostwick Lawn Care, LLC

Bostwick Lake sits east of town in a bowl the glaciers left behind, and on an August morning the fog lies on it until the sun burns through. The lawns around it run right down to the docks, which asks for a different hand than a street lot does — soft ground near the water, hard sandy knolls up by the road. Bostwick Lawn Care, LLC mows, trims and tends those yards and the ones on the roads back toward Rockford. Grass cut close to a shoreline shows every wobble, so the lines get walked before they get driven. There is a plain kind of pride in a lawn that stays green and even all the way to the water's edge.
