Lush Lawn

About Lush Lawn

July in Oakland County builds all afternoon and then breaks — thunderheads stacking up in the southwest, twenty minutes of hard rain, and a lawn that grows two inches by the weekend. Lush Lawn works that rhythm in Rochester Hills, where heavy clay soil holds water after a storm and bakes tight in the dry stretch that follows. Mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups are the steady rotation, timed to how the grass is actually behaving rather than how the calendar says it should. Cutting at the right height in a Michigan August is the difference between green and scorched. The green is the whole reward.
