About Mc Bain Lawn Services

South of the village the land climbs into moraine ridges, and dawn reaches up there well before it finds the hollows. Mc Bain Lawn Services works both ends of the calendar from that early hour — mowing, trimming and edging while the dew is still down in summer, plowing and shoveling by headlight in winter. Grass on a ridge dries fast and browns in August; grass in a hollow stays wet and grows hard, and one property will hand you both. Snow behaves the same way, scouring off the high ground and packing deep at the bottom of a drive. Knowing which is which on each place is most of the job, and a drive opened while the ridge is still blue with early light is the rest of it.
