Reed City is a crossroads in the literal sense — US-10 and US-131 meet here, and the old rail grade crosses them both as the White Pine Trail. JJ's Quality Lawn & Snow Care LLC works the properties on either side of those lines, mowing and trimming through the green months and plowing and shoveling once Osceola County starts collecting snow by the foot. Winter is serious this far north; storms stack up overnight, and the day begins with headlights and a blade at four in the morning. By the time the coffee is poured downtown, the drives are open.
