About B and D services

The Rapid River comes down out of the Kalkaska hills fast enough to earn its name, and the little settlement that grew up beside it keeps the same unhurried, working feel. B and D services mows and trims the yards along that valley, edging the walks, tidying the borders and clearing the yard out when spring thaws it loose and again when autumn buries it. Sandy river ground drains quickly and the sun sits hot on it by afternoon, so the cutting gets timed to leave the turf standing rather than stressed. What matters at the end of a stop is simple: even height across the whole yard, a clean line at the drive, and the clippings off the pavement. Small-town work in a place small enough that the finished lawn is its own advertisement.
