About Southeast Grounds Management

Raisinville township lies on the old Lake Erie plain, ground so level that the horizon is set by silver maples and grain bins, with the river taking its slow bends east toward Monroe. Southeast Grounds Management keeps that flat country in order, mowing and edging lawns, trimming out around drives and outbuildings, and maintaining grounds where the clay soil holds water long into spring. Level ground is honest — a wandering mow line shows for a hundred yards — so the passes get laid out square and the borders get cut in where turf meets gravel or field. On a bright morning with the ditch grass still wet, a finished lot out here looks like somebody drew it. The reward is that plain, everyday order, repeated up and down the township roads between Monroe and Dundee.
