About Best Choice Lawncare & Plowing

Porter township is laid out the way southern Michigan usually is — mile roads ruled across old farm ground, woodlots left standing at the corners, and kettle lakes dropped in wherever the ice quit. Best Choice Lawncare & Plowing works that grid, mowing and trimming lawns that range from a village-sized square of grass to a homestead yard with a barn at the far end. The trick in country like this is scale: a big lawn wants a rhythm, and a mowed line that runs straight for two hundred feet is a small piece of order set against a lot of open sky. Trimming around fence posts, mailboxes and the maple somebody's grandparents planted is where the care actually shows. In late autumn the leaves come off all at once and get hauled away before the first hard freeze pins them down. Steady work for a township that keeps its own yards honest.
