About Clark Logic EarthWorks Lawn & Landscape

Portage sits on ground the glaciers left in a hurry: kettle hollows, low ridges, sand where a person would swear there ought to be clay. Clark Logic EarthWorks Lawn & Landscape reads that terrain before touching it, because a slope that drains fast in July is the same slope that ices over in a February dusk. Warm months bring mowing, trimming and cleanups shaped to how each yard actually sheds water; cold months bring plowing, shoveling and salt laid where the runoff insists on going. Late winter is the honest test — half-melted, refreezing, every low spot showing its hand. Getting a drive open and keeping it open there is a small engineering problem, and solving it is the pleasure of the job.
