Cut above the rest

About Cut above the rest

By four o'clock on a late-June afternoon the brick storefronts downtown throw their shade halfway across the sidewalk, and Plainwell slows to match. Cut above the rest keeps grass in that light — mowed on a steady rotation, trimmed tight to fence posts and mailbox stems, edged where turf meets concrete so the border looks decided instead of accidental. A yard here wants patience through a soaking spring and a gentler hand once August dries the ground out. The reward is small and real: a lawn that reads as finished from the street, and stays that way until the next visit. Lawn care for the houses on the side streets and the lots along Main.
