About Firman Irrigation & Tree Services

March is pruning weather here — sap moving, buds still shut tight, every limb legible against a gray sky. Firman Irrigation & Tree Services reads Petoskey's big maples and cedars in that window, then turns to the ground: irrigation started up and tuned, heads adjusted, lines blown clear again before the hard freeze arrives. Between those bookends come mowing, trimming and cleanups, and once winter sets in, plowing and clearing to keep drives and walks passable. Trees, water and turf are really one system — shade changes what grass needs, and a root zone that dries out shows up in the canopy a year later. Tending them together is how a place stays whole instead of fixed in pieces.
