About Bay Area Turf Care

Turf that grows a half mile from open water lives a particular life: wind off Little Traverse Bay, sandy footing beneath, and a growing season that arrives late and leaves early. Bay Area Turf Care builds a Petoskey routine around exactly that — mowing at a height the grass can carry, trimming and edging so the lines stay honest, cleanups at both ends of the green months. Then the trucks change over and the same properties get plowed, shoveled and salted through the deep part of the year. Knowing a lawn in July turns out to be useful in January, because you already know where the pavement ends and the sod begins. Few things wreck a yard faster than a plow that had to guess.
