5H Irrigation and Maintenance

About 5H Irrigation and Maintenance

The high ground above Petoskey is sand under its grass, and sand forgets water nearly as fast as it takes it in. That is the arithmetic 5H Irrigation and Maintenance works out every summer — heads aimed true, zones running in the cool hour before the sun clears the hills, so a lawn keeps its color through the dry middle of August. The mowing, trimming and edging follow the same habit of mind: small things done on time, and the whole yard reads as one composed piece. In fall the lines are blown out ahead of the first freeze that would find them. None of it announces itself. It simply shows up as green, in a place where green takes work.
