Come October the oak woods between Vandalia and Marcellus turn rust and copper, and the farm lanes fill with leaves overnight. Paradise Lawn Service works the far end of the season hard — leaf cleanup and hauling, final cuts, beds cleared and edges cut clean before the ground locks. Through the summer it is the weekly mowing, the trimmer along fence rows, the mulch that keeps a bed looking intentional. Township yards run big out here, part lawn and part field, and knowing where to draw that line is most of the craft. Draw it well and the whole place looks deliberate.
