North of the township line the land opens toward Leonard, and on a January night you can watch a squall cross those fields well before it reaches your own drive. Oxford Lawn Care meets it with the blade — clearing driveways and parking areas, opening a path to the door, putting salt on the slick apron down at the road. When the frost finally lets go in April, the trailers carry mowers instead: weekly cutting, trimming, edging, and the cleanups at either end of the growing season.
