Light comes early to Oxford in summer, sliding up over the fields east of Lapeer Road and setting the dew on fire for about ten minutes. Morning Sun Lawns is loaded and rolling by then — mowing routes through the village and out along the section roads, trimming, edging, walks blown clean before the day turns hot. Beds take mulch in spring and weeding through July, and fertilizer gets worked in when the turf is hungry. The year closes with leaf cleanup and a final low cut to carry the grass into the cold. Start early, finish clean: that is the whole method, repeated all season.
