Lance's Lawn Maintenance

About Lance's Lawn Maintenance

There is a week in Oxford, usually late in November, when the mower comes off the trailer for the last time and the plow goes on the truck. Lance's Lawn Maintenance lives on both sides of that week — mowing, trimming, edging and cleanups from the first green along Seymour Lake Road to the very last leaf, then plowing, shoveling and salting once the ground has gone hard. Winter up here does not announce itself; it shows up overnight and asks whether you were ready. Being ready is the job, and the answer is written on the driveway by six in the morning. Two seasons, one route, and properties kept in hand all the way around the year.
