Ramps down, mowers off the trailer, one man to the trim line and one to the open ground — a lawn crew working well looks like choreography, and it is over in fifteen minutes. Lawn Guys runs that pattern across Owosso all season, mowing, edging along walks and drives, blowing the concrete clean before the gate swings shut. Then the truck rolls to the next street and does it again, twenty-odd times before the light goes. Winter changes the tools but not the tempo: plows on, driveways and walks opened early, the route worked straight through until every stop is done. A town looks after itself best when somebody out there is keeping to a schedule.
