About Northern Pines Lawn & Landscaping

Wind moving through pines at two in the morning is the sound of a storm getting organized over Brandon Township. Northern Pines Lawn & Landscaping is out in that — plow lights swinging across driveways, lots opened, walks cleared, salt spread where the melt will refreeze before sunrise. Snow in this corner of Oakland County comes heavy and wet as often as it comes light, and each kind takes a different pass. By dawn the drives around Ortonville are dark stripes across a white township, and the roads look like ordinary roads again. Nobody sees the doing of it, and that is a good part of the appeal.
