The Polly Ann Trail runs the old rail grade north out of Orion Township, dead straight through country that is anything but. US Lawn & Snow LLC works the properties on either side of it — mowing, trimming and cleanups through the growing months, plowing, shoveling and de-icing once the ground has gone hard. Out toward Long Lake the drives get long and the wind gets a running start, so clearing means coming back after it drifts rather than calling it done. In summer those same properties want crisp lines and the clippings gone before the rain packs them down. Different equipment, same idea: leave the place looking looked-after.
