Bald Mountain rises just enough over Orion Township to give the whole area its rumpled shape — ridges, ponds and hardwood threaded between the subdivisions. Lawn Jockey's Pro Outdoor Services mows and trims through that landscape from the first flush of May grass to the last cut of October. Around here a lawn runs straight up against the woods, so the edge where turf meets tree line has to be drawn on purpose. Trimming, edging, spring cleanup and leaf work fill out the rest of the year, especially once the oaks let go. A yard that looks intentional against wild ground is a genuinely good thing to leave behind.
