On the older streets off Novi Road the trees are full-grown, and by the last week of October a lawn can vanish under them completely. P & A Lawn And Cleaning Services works from the first tidy-up of spring to the last haul of autumn: mowing and trimming through the season, edging drives and walks, then clearing a yard back down to green when the leaves finally finish. Turf that goes into winter uncovered comes back healthier in April, because it never spent four months smothered. It is unglamorous work and deeply satisfying to look back at from the curb.
