Floyd's Lawn And Snow

About Floyd's Lawn And Snow

Come harvest, the roads around North Branch Township carry dust and combine light well past dark, and the yards along them need going over more than once. Floyd's Lawn And Snow works that end of the year — leaves off the lawn, the drive blown clean, the grass taken to a height that will not mat down under snow. Earlier in the season the same routine runs green: mowing across these wide Thumb lots, trimming at fence posts and outbuildings, edging where turf gives way to gravel. Out here a yard is the trimmed part of a much larger landscape, and the line between the two is worth keeping crisp. Done right, it holds all summer and still looks deliberate at the first hard freeze.
