About Woodruff & Sons Lawncare

Hillsdale County wrinkles up around North Adams — real hills, hedgerows, and the water at Bird Lake catching whatever light the sky is offering. Mowing ground like that is a craft: the deck riding the contour, stripes bending with the slope instead of fighting it, and Woodruff & Sons Lawncare does it weekly along with trimming, edging and the cleanups at either end of the growing season. When winter comes the same hills turn the work sideways, and the trucks go to plowing drives and lots, clearing walks, and salting the pitched approaches where ice likes to settle in. Hill-country properties reward attention at the edges — the top of a drive, the low corner that stays wet longest. Handled right, a place up here looks composed from whatever direction you come at it.
