October in Newaygo is a list. The last mow before the ground goes cold, the leaves swept off the front walk, the shovel dug out of the shed before anybody actually needs it. The Handy Helper takes on that list from both directions — lawn care while the grass still asks for it, snow clearing the moment it stops. It is small-town work in the truest sense: a drive plowed for a neighbor who has an early shift, a yard put right before company comes. Newaygo runs on a lot of little jobs like these, and somebody has to be the one who shows up for them.
