Lanore's Lawn Services

About Lanore's Lawn Services

On a July evening the water at Bear Lake goes flat and gold, and the mowers up on the North Muskegon side finally get some cool air to work in. Lanore's Lawn Services runs the summer route through Muskegon, cutting, trimming and edging on the weekly turn that keeps a lawn even instead of shaggy. Shoreline yards have their own rules — soft ground near the water, hard sun on the road side, and a slope that has to be cut across rather than up. The walk and the drive get cleared before the truck moves on, because a good cut ends with the cleanup. By dark the yard is striped, quiet and finished, and the crickets have it back.
