About Lawn Barber

A barber's whole trade is the edge — the line at the neck, the part that tells you someone paid attention — and Lawn Barber carries that idea across the Sherman Boulevard blocks and through Muskegon Heights. In the growing months it is mowing, trimming and edging, with the walk swept so nothing spoils a fresh cut. In the frozen months the same trucks come back with plows, opening drives and lots and clearing paths before the morning gets going. Salt handles the ice at the apron where a driveway meets the street. Two seasons, one habit: leave it looking like somebody cared how it turned out.
