Tony's Lawn Care & Landscaping Services

About Tony's Lawn Care & Landscaping Services

Some February nights the snow crosses the open Isabella County fields with nothing at all to slow it, and by three in the morning Mission Street is one long white page. Tony's Lawn Care & Landscaping Services is out in it then, plowing lots, opening driveways and walkways, salting the ice hiding beneath the drift, so the first cars turning onto Broadway find pavement instead of guesswork. By May the same trucks trade blades for mowers: grass cut, edges trimmed, the yard kept steady from thaw straight through to hard frost. There is a particular pride in a drive cleared before the porch light goes off, and in a lawn that looks tended on a quiet Sunday morning. Mount Pleasant, Shepherd, Union Township and the farm roads running north toward Clare are the ground this crew covers.
