Snow falling at night through the tall lights along Groesbeck turns the whole industrial stretch outside Mount Clemens into something almost soft, at least until the first vehicle crosses it. Rock Ridge Landscape spends those hours pushing back against the accumulation — plowing lots and driveways, opening the walks by hand, spreading salt along the ramps and aprons where a slick patch would do the most harm. Storms here rarely arrive politely; they come in bands, quit for an hour, and start again, so the trucks come back. Morning is the payoff, headlights rolling onto pavement that is dark and dry and ready. Mount Clemens, Clinton Township and Sterling Heights are all within that night's driving.
