About King Lawns LLC

At dusk the light rakes across the fields west of Monroe toward Dundee, low and gold, and the last cut of the day throws a shadow twice the length of the mower. King Lawns LLC works right up to that hour — mowing, trimming, edging, laying the rows in one direction so the whole yard catches the light together. When the fields go bare and the wind swings around, the work swings with it: plowing drives and lots, opening walks, spreading salt on the ice. There is a plain satisfaction in a property that looks handled, in June and again in January. The calendar flips; the attention does not.
