About THE YARD, LLC

The Au Sable River runs right through Mio, and around it spread the jack pine plains where the Kirtland's warbler returns to sing each spring. On that sandy northern ground a green lawn takes steady attention, and THE YARD, LLC gives it: regular mowing, close trimming, and edges that hold their line through the dry spells of late July. Morning mist is lifting off the river as the mower starts, and the smell of cut grass mingles with pine resin in the warming air. Each finished yard is a small green room inside the big forest, tidy and open and ready for a long evening outdoors.
